morning notes
1. Note to self: Take Rain-X on next skiing trip. When the precipitation falling is a mixture of freezing rain, sleet, and snow and progressing down the slopes through it means I have to make regular stops to breathe on and wipe off my goggles and/or glasses, it’s no fun. I think something water-repellent (like Rain-X) on my goggles might have helped, but then, maybe not. Obscured vision on the slopes didn’t dampen the fun of the weekend overall, though–the resort was not crowded at all and the snow quality was stellar, with hardly any ice. Thanks for letting me use your skis, David–they worked great.
2. Finally saw Napoleon Dynamite on the bus on the way home. Fantastic movie, and one of the most emminently quotable (and re-enact-able) I’ve seen in a long time. Probably helped that I saw it with a bunch of folks who were really into the movie as well.
3. I got the cd player for my car over the weekend. I’ll install it tonight, I think. Tunes for the upcoming ski trip to Snowshoe!
4. I have a small headache this morning. Not too pleasant. I think it’s because I had too much fast food this weekend.
