Got my RAM in, along with my 80GB HD. Just needed to buy a IDE splitter cable for the hard drive, and…bingo. No more “Your hard drive has no space left” messages. So nice. And we’re cruising on a whopping 384MB of memory too… Not a lot–but certainly enough for what I do (which doesn’t involve any computer games). My seven-year-old Mac is purring contentedly at my feet.
Just finished The Da Vinci Code. What a silly book. I mean…it’s not even a very good work of fiction, let alone the controversial powderkeg that everyone’s hailing it as. I’m a little disappointed. More on this later.
Now I’m off to Leslie’s to fix her car before she comes back from Florida tomorrow. I have to buy an OBD-2 code reader so I can pull the CEL code, but it’s something I’ve been needing for a while now. A worthwhile investment.
