in the interest of evading boredom (for me)

Published on December 26, 2004

Gran and Paul waiting for the present opening to begin. We have a few ground rules, the main two being that you have to wait until everyone has arrived before the present opening begins, and that you can never just grab your own presents and open them–you must wait until they are handed to you by someone else (not necessary the giver of the present in question, either).

David checking the stocking.

My new shortwave radio on the countertop.

Donald and Stephen’s gift–a very nice calendar.

This makes brake bleeding a one-man job. It’s a nice model, too, with a pressure indicator and a metal chamber (instead of plastic). Quality stuff.

Still life of (clean) kitchen counter and tree poking up in the background.

The current state of my bedroom door. The goal is to have this thing totally covered. I’m selective about what goes on there, though.

My car outside the office last Wednesday when it was warm and the driveshaft center support bearing and headlight switch hadn’t yet crapped themselves in the cold weather.

Let’s go somewhere.

Quiet apartment.

    Nice door. Thumbs up.

    It’s funny seeing your dish-doing area. It’s like… I don’t know.

ah, I *really* wanna get a shortwave radio, too (but I don’t get to make an xmas list this year). however, should I get that new job any time soon… I will definitely be buying one for myself :)

and dang boy, you *are* bored.

oh yeah, and keep your eyes open for a gift that was most certainly on your list (but you’ll wish it had been). I sent it out a week or so ago, but who knows when it will actually show up. You will be the envy of all the other little boys and girls with this little treat (hehe). When you get it and can’t figure out what it is, please email me for further instruction, haha.

It’s nice that my door gets a thumbs-up from its most prolific contributor. I think that’s important.

    :)

You should send me a picture of your laundry-doing area. Then we’d be even. At least as far as household chores that we respectively enjoy.

What new job would this be? Something semi-lucrative, I hope…

Yes, I was extremely bored. *le sigh*

    Haha… I’ll look forward to that :)

it had better be lucrative (at least in the semi-fashion, I suppose)

however, I have yet to find said job.

btw–egotistical pic is a good shot, even if you do look like an ass ;)

Thanks :) I think I’m going to yank it though. I just… Yeah. It’s not me. Yep.

    come on!

    it *is* you.

you are a guy, thus there is a bit of the ‘ass’ within you, don’t deny it, come to terms with it. and hey, it really is a good photo. i would say you look hot, but i don’t want to turn this into another session of ‘am i hot or not’ ;)
