Okay folks, I just went with friends to see this movie. One word: badass. Some of the best martial arts I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen some. The Thai-style fighting employed in this movie makes the Japanese and Chinese forms just seem like they’re lightly slapping one another in comparison. The brutality of it is definitely something to see. Not that that’s something to revel in, but it certainly gives the film a more powerful physicality than its Japanese and Chinese counterparts. Highly recommended.
My roommate and I really wanted to watch that! We needed to find a place that was showing it. Glad it’s good, hopefully we’ll go see it soon.
I just watched “When Harry Met Sally” last night. I really enjoyed it. I watched it with Mary, an old high school friend, so it was almost like us, but not quite. That was interesting.
