Well, dang it. The Panthers lost the Superbowl. They acquitted themselves well, though; it was a good game, and they certainly gave the Patriots more of a run than most people were anticipating.
Skiing yesterday at Wintergreen was stellar. It was honestly the best skiing I’ve had, well, on this continent… Aaron and I took a bus up to the VA/WV border resort as part of one of those all-day package deals which actually turn out to be quite nice, as long as you don’t mind being cooped up on a bus with a hundred folks for several hours. We’re both 6’4″+, though, so it was a little trying at times, but we managed, and it was worth it–the snow had a dusting of powder over a softly packed base, and was absolutely perfect. I had boots and poles, but rented skis since my own are pretty badly scored on the bottom and the bindings are a bit loose as well. The skis I rented ended up being the nicest pair I’ve ever skiied on. So we had a great time, including talking almost the whole way back about every subject imaginable. I hadn’t interacted with Aaron in that capacity in a while, and it was good to talk and unload after being more than a little antisocial lately.
I really don’t fancy going into work tomorrow. There are quite a few things hanging over me–all of which I’ll get sorted out in time, but the Sunday night-ness of the moment isn’t the most pleasant thing.

Unfortunately not. My camera is still MIA… I gotta clean out one of my cars–I have a feeling it’ll turn up when I do that.
