Lunchtime… Subway and a soda. Not too bad. I suppose I could do better but I didn’t really feel like finding a parking spot with the truck in the vicinity of Franklin St. today. My email service is experiencing its daily (ha) downtime/meltdown. I spilled some honey mustard sauce on my khakis. Dang it. At least it’s not in a terribly critical location. I really should lean over the wax paper when I eat. Okay email’s back up. Good. Got the Board of Governors directories back today, and the ink is waaay too light. I thought I specified heavy coverage… Ah well. All the information is there and if my client complains I’ll do something about it, but everything else related to this job went perfectly so I’m just going to suppress my perfectionistic instincts. Scott says the Gazette looks good, but “dense.” Not a diss, just a fact. I agreed, since there were a lot of stories this issue, even for a 16-pager, and I had to massage and squeeze and work it a little more than I usually do. I bought two toboggans/beanies at Walmart on Tuesday night. It’s the first time I had bought clothes in honestly years. I mean, except for sunglasses and petty stuff like that. I bought a deep green “Arctic Hat” and a lighter rusty-red toboggan. I think I’ll save the “Arctic Hat” for ski trips and deep freeze days. The red toboggan looks decent but I think I can do better. I just wish I hadn’t lost my A.E. hat… It was the only piece of designer clothing I owned… Well, except for my bell-shaped Structure overcoat.
Anyway. Anyone have some gum?

Wow, you probably just posted this, but I just clicked on your journal and I saw it. Score. I love my life!
1) Designer clothing is so overrated. Unless, of course, it’s from the thrift center (like my $3 Christian Dior button down shirt).
2) The fact that you need toboggans/beanies makes me jealous. I want cold weather.
3) Do I ever not have gum? Well I guess you wouldn’t know that since you’re never around me. So I guess you can’t answer that. Nevermind!
4) Kitten!
1) Agreed. If I can get it for cheap it’s all fine and good, but I turn my nose up at people who can actually afford to buy it new. I’m a reverse snob! Haha.
2) Toboggans rocked my world before, but ever since I shaved my head they’ve been elevated to the plane of, like, roadtrips and bubblewrap. In other words, things that are cool beyond description.
3) I’m neverminding as per your instructions on this one. But I still want some gum. Must…have… morning…sugar…rush…
4) Huzzah for kittens! (hmm…good band name? Nah…)
