evening notes

1. The “Wayne the Brain” episode of ATHF is one of the funniest ones (I’ve just seen “Total Re-Carl” too many times now…). In the words of Wayne, “‘SUP.”

2. My computer’s back up and running. I took it to the Mac Store at the mall after making an appointment online for a consultation at the self-described Genius Bar. Took in my computer and immediately got comments from three or four people that it was “a classic.” I mean, it’s not that old. It’s not even beige. Well… I guess six years is pretty old in computer years.

But they fixed it. Or, more accurately, they took it in their back room, plugged it into a monitor and keyboard, and it booted right up, showing no signs of the problems I was having. I brought it home and it fired right up, just like it always has. Weird. At least the guys at the Mac Store didn’t charge me anything for their time.

3. The new Nature Valley™ “Sweet & Salty Nut” bars are unbelievably good. Almond flavor is the best (and the best for you).

4. I have two tickets to this and I’ve not asked anyone yet. Hmm. Decision-making ensues…

Do you ever actually see the bass in the movie? I forget…

  9. _fivestars says:

Ummmmm I’m not sure. I’ve seen the deleted scenes and I know that at some point in either those or the actual movie it’s seen. It’s really small.
