Mmm… Cornbread. Though not nearly as tasty or sweet as Erin’s it was nice to eat, coupled with a sense of accomplishment for actually having made something that required more than two ingredients. Combine that with some peanut butter toast and red beans and rice, and you have a recipe for a full Matt.

Evan, my new cat. We’ve “adopted” one another, to stave off the lonliness, I presume. He’s the most affection-starved cat I’ve seen in a while. I’ll think I’ll take him home. Well, perhaps I should consult my parents before I make a proclamation like that.

Perhaps I will have something of any substance later.

nah, substance is for other people ;)

    awww… a kitty kat! :)

you should definitely keep him, cats are absolutely wonderful (particularly when they are keen on affection) :) And you had better bring him up to UNC at some point in time so that I can amuse myself for hours afterwards getting all the hair off my clothes :)

Weeeell… I was going to, but after the little surprise he left in the blanket on my bed last night, I think he’ll just have to stay here. My neighbor is back anyway, and he takes better care of the cat than I do (i.e. he buys actual cat food). Oh well…

yeah, um, the purchase of actual cat food can be surpisingly beneficial to cats everywhere… ;)
