So close… Argh. So darn close. If it weren’t a Sunday I’d have it done and started, hopefully. The Taurus’s engine is completely reassembled, it just needs another serpentine belt and 8 quarts of transmission fluid. *sigh* If I’d known, I would have gotten them at the store… Oh well. At least it’s a complete engine again. After having an empty engine bay for a while, it’s nice to have everything hooked back in its correct place again. At least I get sliver of a sense of accomplishment from that. If I could only crank it over and see if it starts after 3-odd months… But that’ll have to wait yet another week or so. I might come back early. Who knows. Only the shadow.
Also, if anyone out there acquiring a car needs a second opinion, I’m available. I’ll do my best to quash my own penchants and visualize myself from the point of view of your demographic :o)
