I’ve formally decided that I do NOT like getting up in the morning. In fact, it is an extremely unpleasant experience most days. The only situation in which I do get up of my own accord and volition, willingly, is on a day without a preset time to get up, and with very few planned responsibilities. Oh, and while recovering from jetlag in London (but this can hardly be helped). The rest of the time, even if I’ve had my 8 hours, it’s like I’m being pulled away from blessed sleep by the demands of the day. I just don’t like it. At all, really. Come to think of it, I should probably attempt to get over my disdain for the act of getting up before I get married, since having another warm body in the bed with me will just give me more reason to want to stay there. Maybe consistency will help. One or two nights of sufficient sleep doesn’t satisfy me; this I’ve proven, but perhaps a whole week of 8-hour nights? Hmm. ‘Twould take some organization, that’s for sure.
9:45 — I’m a bit surprised the Eclipse people haven’t contacted me about a batch of sketches I e-mailed them last night. I mean, they were technically accurate and descriptive, but from an artistic standpoint pretty half-baked. Heck, I’d have e-mailed me if that PDF showed up in my inbox.

Hey. What’s the weather like there?
Hay.
(as in a bale)
Placid, overcast, and rather tranquil, all things considered. How’re things there?
Glad you’re safe :o)
High.
(as in not low)
The weather here is hot, humid, and slightly overcast. Pretty non-eventful.
Also, in response to your latest post — I pulled out all my scarves yesterday. :)
HAI.
(as in…well, take your pick)
I think I’m going to substitute your sentence for the overused and cliché expression, “Pulling out all the stops.” I’ll say, for instance, “Alright, that’s it. I’m really going for it now; I’m pulling out ALL the scarves!“
Hahahaha :)
