Quick update from Lauterbrunnen (this internet cafe has the crappiest connection imaginable, but I guess it’d be unfair to expect much more).
Little Swiss town bordered by immense mountains, not least of which is the Jungfrau, one of the highest peaks in the Alps. We’re in a lovely hostel and I’m quite full from a big pot of chili and noodles cooked in the hostel kitchen. Yum. Lots of hiking tomorrow. We’ll take tons of pictures–it’d be hard not to what with the waterfalls all around cascading hundreds of feet down to the valley floor.
