Doubt I’ll be able to fall asleep soon tonight… Lot on my mind. Not to mention that three-hour nap I took earlier in the evening. That won’t help matters–not as far as falling asleep, at least.
I’ve been addicted to solo piano music lately, mainly by George Winston, and his Summer album. Something about the weather recently coupled with my prevailing mood these days seems to agree with it. Actually, not just piano music, but instrumental music in general. I think perhaps it gives me a chance to think a bit more when I’m driving in the car? I was at the office this afternoon until 6 or so, but I had to get out earlier, just to clear my head, so I went for a drive down to the grocery store and back, the long way, around 3. Didn’t seem to help matters much, but it was a pleasant drive through the sunshine.

I love a good piano piece. I feel like it is the one instrument that can really do a good whole solo piece, whereas most others can do solo work within a song, a piano… (sigh)
I wish I could play…
The instrument is so versatile, and can convey essentially the whole spectrum of emotion depending on how it’s played…

still haven’t gotten that new address just yet… I meant to do that today, but as its already midday and I still have to run by the TCM Uni and then meet my polish friend for coffee this afternoon… yeah. And tomorrow the crazy seminar starts, eep!
