Why am I so nervous? Gaaah. Okay, breathe.
Had a great time with Scott last night. He’s one of my 9th grade guys from youth group… Amazingly mature for his age. I mean, the guy’s a better conversationalist than I am (doesn’t take much of course) and he’s 10 years younger. He’s got a good bead on relationships, and he’s sensitive to what’s going on with the guys around him. We played some one-on-one b-ball and went to B&J’s for ice cream; I brought him back to the apartment for a minute and showed him the Supra, and we listened to all sorts of music on the drive to and from his house (way out in the country, mind you). Great kid. A real leader in the wings.
I will be glad for tomorrow. Or just tonight, even, sometime when I can just do nothing for a little bit.

B&J is indeed a condensation of Ben & Jerry’s. As for “free-standing,” I can only assume you’re asking whether the building was free-standing or not, in which case I can tell you that it wasn’t, but instead in downtown Chapel Hill, on the main drag, known as Franklin Street.

It also makes me happy that they have B&J’s, like, by themselves. Around here we can only get it in pints at the grocery store.
