ya know, people keep on talking to me like I’m this big “world traveler” but really, I’ve only been to five countries that weren’t the US… and I feel like I’ve missed out on a lot of US stuff. Oops, I guess thats six, do we still Canadia as another country?

Think about it in context, though… You’ve experienced a much wider array of cultures, and in closer proximity than I ever was (okay maybe not in Spain, but having your backpack stolen counts for something as far as experiencing culture…)

how weird is this .. i’m afraid to fly but the airport there, ohare, is my absolute favorite. i had a layover there back in may when i flew to california. it’s so fun! haha! i’m strange.
I loved Chicago. I was only there for a couple of hours at night visiting Moody Bible College, right smack in downtown Chicago, near the Sears Tower (I stared up at it), but I got a great feeling about the city… It seemed less hostile than New York (and maybe less interesting to some because of it).
That’s funny about O’Hare… Maybe it seemed nice to you because it was a respite from flying for a while? :o) Just a thought.
yeah it does seem less hostile than new york. i think that’s what i like about it .. it’s still got that big city vibe but not as crazy as ny. :)
it is possible that’s why i like o’hare so much. :) i really did enjoy it there though. did you get go “underground” when you were there? that’s one part i really like. it’s all dark but they have all the fun colors lighting up above you. it’s just so fun. :) wow, i’m a nerd. :) haha!

Hmm… I never did go “underground.” I pretty much checked in at the counter, took my shoes off and got frisked, and dragged my luggage to one of those rent-a-terminals where all the regional flights pull in. What is this “underground?” Just a walkway? Or a restaurant of some sort?
it’s just a walkway that goes under the airport that takes you from one terminal to another. you must think i’m crazy for talking about it so much but if you would have experienced it, you’d understand. :) lol.
