The sun is gone again as it’s a bit overcast, but the breeze feels cool and wonderful.
Got my first paycheck today as a permanent employee… Ouch. Quite a pay cut from being a staff freelancer, but I’ll make it. A few economies may be in order, though. I have half a mind to search for freelance jobs elsewhere. It’s not like I don’t have enough contacts–I couldn’t even mention all the flyers and ads and t-shirts and whatnot in the past year that I’ve done for friends for free. Not like I’d start charging them, but I could let on that I DO do freelance work. I think I need to scare up some business cards and crank out a webpage. Yeah.
I’m growing a thin beard, just to be a little experimental. I’ve grown gotees in the past, and liked them by and large, but I’ve not grown an actual beard since 1997, senior year of high school, when the director of a play I was in encouraged me to so that I’d fit my role better (Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night). So we’ll see how this goes.
Please say you have pictures of you in Twelfth Night! (I detest saying the word “twelfth” — it makes my mouth hurt.)

Well… I do. Back at my parents’ house. Actually I may have some at the apartment as well–but I’d need to get the scanner to work with my computer’s new OS.
I’ll see what I can find… Be warned, though–It’s rather scary. I dressed up as sort of a naval officer, so in a few scenes I wore a bicorne hat that gave me some very much unneeded extra height:

I’ve been a sizeable Lisa Loeb kick lately, hence the song… Maybe it’s to do with the recent acquisition of new glasses? Who knows.
