Do you ever do the shower dance? You know, right after getting in, when the water’s not scalding hot but still pretty warm, enough so that you can’t just dive right in, so to speak… I feel like I’m playing the hokey-pokey with the stream of water, getting used to the warmth one limb at a time. But it’s nice, especially after a good run in the near-freezing cold. Now for more warmth and blankets and darkness… Goodnight.

Yeah… sleep is good. :)
I concur… And three-hour naps are especially good :o)
come on everybody, do the shower dance!
;)
I love the hokey pokey, and my kids (ie: the Qinghua kiddies I teach weds and sats) really like it too ;)
anyhoo… on hot showers: I finally figured out how to make the water warm enough not to freeze me to death, and thus as I first start the shower, my skin is so cold that the water almost burns, but once you get used to it, it is quite delicious, non?
I have a similar sensation when taking a footbath, at first my icy feet seem scalded by the hot water, but eventually they decide otherwise and it is all in all a wonderful thing.
yay hot water.
Especially if they’re on a Sunday…
Agreed… But at this point I’ll take a nap any day of the week. Like right now.
:o) Hope your morning is huzzahworthy. Is it raining where you are?
Hot water is definitely a boon. I’m glad you’ve figured out how to make it emanate from the showerhead :o) It sounds a bit dumb, but I’ve been in hotels and the like where I couldn’t figure out the shower knob for the life of me… Why can’t there be any sort of consistency as far as showerhead ergonomics?
I hear ya on that one.
Thanks, Matt. And no, it’s not raining! It’s sunny (slightly overcast though) and warm! Wow. Whooda thunk it. What about over there?
Hope your day is fantastic. :)
It’s quite lovely outside here, although the sky itself is grey.
My day’s been pretty good. It’s a Gazette day so I’m rocking out over here in the Gaz office. Good times :o)
wait, I never said I had a showerhead, there is a faucet sticking out of the wall… ;p
