Work was officially closed today. But here I am, in the Gazette office, hashing out page 10… *sigh* It’s not too bad. Sometimes I prefer the solitude–I can focus better and goof off more effectively at the same time, if that makes sense.
I had a lot to say, but it’s disappeared. Maybe it’s lunchtime? I’m off to brave the snow… Heh. What a joke.

You like Elliott Smith?
I’m just getting to know his music… I listened to it at work today. I quite liked most of it–his minimalist style is appealing.
I really like Elliott Smith. It’s weird listening to his music now, knowing that he recently committed suicide… his pain and depression were always evident in his music though. Then again a lot of his songs make me really happy and are very sweet. :) I don’t know… I should’ve ended with my first sentence.
i also prefer to work at home…
it is better to focus on goofing off and then working at your own time intervals, instead of worrying about goofing off and then covering up for it while not actually concentrating on the work ;)
Very wise proverb, o great Elysium, learned in the ways of the workplace.
:o)
You should assemble a list of teachings about trends and tendencies while on the job. Given your incredibly varied range of professions in the past, you’d be quite the authority, I think :o)
haha, too true! ;)
what better to be both creative/productive/and procrastinatory all at the same time!
you too are quite brilliant :)
