Why is it that I hate waking up? I’ve taken note of this, and even on days when I know I’ve gotten enough sleep, dragging myself out of bed is invariably an arduous thing. Every time. And I always know just how tired I am by how long it takes me to overcome the immediate “get back in bed” urge. I think perhaps if I got more sleep on a consistent basis matters would improve. Possibly.
We’re going to go tree shopping for the apartment in a day or two. My parents’ house is already treed and decorated–the earliest we’ve ever done it (I think the latest was less than a week before Christmas one year). As soon as we figure out where to put it in the apartment, scare up some lights and ornaments and decorations, I think it will really brighten the atmosphere in there…not to mention smell wonderful. That’s one of the best things about Christmas, no doubt.
Watched Finding Nemo last night for the first time. Great film… I particularly enjoyed the bits with the shark support group, the little French crab, and mount Wanahockaloogie. It was all great. I was somewhat dissuaded from watching it initially when it came out in theater because of the surfer turtles (didn’t find them funny at all), but they weren’t overkill and turned out to be kind of cute. Ah…so good.

i love that movie. so does my niece, so i got to watch it over thanksgiving. twice :)
hopefully i’ll get it for christmas.
