Is the place where they make chocolate a chocolatery? Or a chocolatorium? Or maybe it’s just a chocolate factory? Willy Wonka! Yes!

I will now apply my more-than-ample mental powers to more pressing issues such as world peace and hunger.

sprinkle it with dew / cover it in chocolate and a miracle or two…

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Best Movie Ever. My favorite Roald Dahl book.

Good luck with fixing world hunger. You can do it!

    Hope you’re having a good morning. :)

    . . . .chocolate . . . yummmmmm . . .

But I just got done eating HOT Krispe Kreme doughnuts. That filled me up pleasantly! :)

I like The Glass Elevator and Danny the Champion of the World. Aw heck, who am I kidding? I love them all. I especially remember a part Danny where he describes his father as one who “smiles with his eyes.” That stuck with me for years.

Yep, I can solve world hunger. Just gotta get psyched up and do it. I think I’ve almost figured out how to manage it with a hamster, an exercise wheel, and four tons of Raisin Bran. Except that hamsters are allergic to raisins. Dang it.

I had a lovely morning, thank you. Hope your day is particularly stellar too :o)

Krispy Kreme! Ahhh! Darn you people, making me want to hop in my car and drive over there RIGHT NOW, to the neglect of my not-so-pressing duties here.

    :o)

Glad to see you back, too.

breakin’ out the huzzah icon, yo

Yeah, I really liked Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, and The BFG. I was a huge fan of Roald Dahl, obviously.

Are hamsters really allergic to raisins?

My day has indeed been particularly stellar. Like, really good. :) Thanks!

    breakin’ out… Trogdor!

I love those books too. Did you ever see the animated version of James and the Giant Peach?

Hahaha… I have no idea if hamsters are allergic to raisins. That whole part was stolen from a Bloom County cartoon drawn in the early ’80s in which Oliver, the resident kid scientist, proposes to solve the world’s energy problems with the solution I mentioned, until his teaches brings up the hamster/raisin incompatibility :o)

    Have a lovely morning!

    um… kitten!

Yes, I have seen the animated version of James and the Giant Peach — back in the day when I’d still read the book before going to see the movie. I liked the Matilda movie a lot. Did you see that?

I was distraught over the whole hamster/raisin compatibility thing, trying to remember whether or not I’d ever fed a hamster raisins. Glad to know that you steal pilferate your world hunger solution from a cartoon, though!

Morning’s been good so far, thanks — just woke up at 9:30. Hope you have a spiffendicular day.
