Massive amounts of sleepy in my eyes this morning… If I don’t get eight hours or more of sleep tonight, shoot me.

Hurricane talk today at the office. Speculation, talk of previous storms, experiences, where it is now, etc… So remind me why North Carolina has to jut out tantalizingly into the Atlantic Ocean like it does? Seems rather silly to me. I wonder if I can still beat the rush and shop for a few days? Regardless, if the worst happens and power cuts off again for a week like it did for the ice storm, I’m high-tailing it…somewhere. Don’t know where, but yeah.

    Well… kind of.

It would definitely put me out of the path of any hurricane that might threaten these here parts…

But I don’t know how keen your parents would be on my boarding there for a week or two :o)

“Hey Dad, my friend Matt needs to stay here so he doesn’t get eaten by a hurricane.”

“Ok, Emily, how do you know Matt?”

    “I… uhh… ummm…”

“Okay! Sure! Tell him he can have the guest bedroom!”

    Maahahaha.

    hahahaha…

Your dad sounds like a nice guy.

Yeah, my dad is cool. I love him. :)

I’m not too sure that Baton Rouge would be much safer, though. I nearly died today! Okay, not really, but it is really rainy and windy.

Rainy and windy… We all know what that calls for. *points to icon*

hey, um, i just read that they are evacuating people in NC. you leavin?

  7. admin says:

No, I’m staying around. I think they’re mainly evacuating people along the outer banks and possibly in the eastern part of the state, where Hurricane Fran hit the hardest.

If power goes off for days and work is postponed I may take an impromptu roadtrip, though :o) We’ll see.
