Pretty slick. Now you *definitely* need to go out and buy cool little glasses.

  2. _fivestars says:

I like it a lot! You need black rimmed glasses and a beret, just for fun.

Huzzah for going through with it! :D

    2 thumbs & 2 big toes up!

    yay! i love it!
it looks great…totally changes your look…
thank you for sharing your pics :)

oh! i have a plant just like francis..only a bit smaller!
and was that a trunk used as a coffee table? we use an old trunk as one..hehe

Matt, hi guy…I am back at championship. I just changed the password.
talk to you soon I hope. don’t add fm/am. just add back championship if you want. that would be cool!

  5. admin says:

Thank you :o) I know! Must get those designer specs now…

  6. admin says:

Thank you, Emily :o) I do need a beret… There’s a lack of them in my life.

    Huzzah!

  7. admin says:

Thanks! I like it too. It’s comfortable and quite cool, although laying my head on my pillow last night was an interesting experience… :o)

I think Francis is getting bigger. I’ve repotted him and he definitely likes it. And yep, the trunk is our coffee table–at least for a couple more days, until we get the new glass coffee table.

  8. admin says:

    You’re back! Re-added you.

  9. beepboop says:

    you have ‘velcro head’!!
i bet you can stick all kinds of things to it now!

my francis like plant isn’t growing all that much.
i think i need to dust it and let it sit outside for a bit..

  10. eviefencer says:

nifty :) for some reason, i couldn’t picture you shaving your head, but once i saw the pictures i was like “oh…duh. yeah” it looks good…though don’t be surprised if i don’t recognize you next time i see you wandering around…

  11. admin says:

Thanks :o) Well… Only one attribute’s changed. I still stick out like a white t-shirt at a Darth Vader impersonators convention.

  12. admin says:

    Velcro head… hahaha

Naw, wasn’t that… Just the feeling of pillow directly on one’s scalp–took some getting used to.

Take a picture of the plant! I’m always up for images of more Francis-like foliage.

  13. beepboop says:

    heh..
i’m sure it feels weird…you’ll get used to it though :)

is this the first time you’ve shaved your head?

    i’ll take a pic! hold on :)

  14. admin says:

The plant and the trunk… I feel spoiled this morning.

Awesome :o) I like the pot, too. Francis’ pot can only aspire to be that cool.

Yes, it’s my first time shaving le head. And I only nicked myself once.

  15. beepboop says:

    yeah, that’s the trunk :)
i like the pot too..my dad gave it to me…along with alot of other neat ones..
he buys the good ones, i buy the cheap-o plastic ones..so i was happy to get them :)

    ooh! you used a razor!?
i will occasionally do jasons’ head with a razor..
it feels so neat when done with a razor…

you need to buy you some of that non greasy spray on sunblock for your head..i know you can get it for babies, so i’m sure they make it for adults too.
    a burned head isn’t fun.

  16. admin says:

Reminds me of a trunk you might find sunken treasure in, for some reason… Arrrr matey.

Got some of that sunblock. Bullfrog is my hero :o)

Yes, I used a razor, after repeated passes with the electric trimmer. Didn’t cut against the grain–that would have been nick city, and I think I’ll save that for when I’m better at it anyway. But it’s still pretty darn close. Not fuzzy at all, but more like very fine-grade sandpaper.

  17. beepboop says:

yeah…the trunk has that look doesn’t it?

    yay for sunblock! :)

yes, you have to be careful going against the grain…i do that for jason, since he can’t do it himself.
it’s really smooth when you do it that way.

  18. _fivestars says:

See, now I really can hear you say huzzah :)

Okay, so today at school I saw some guy with a shaved head and no facial hair. I wanted to be all, “Hey, cool people have facial hair when they do the whole shaved head thing, buddy,” but I didn’t want to be rude. :D

What did they say about it at work?

  19. admin says:

Hahaha… Well, I’ve seen some people who could pull it off. The no-facial hair and shaved head thing that is. But what do I know…

I got a few double takes at work; Betty (my boss) was like, “What did you do to your hair?” but Scott didn’t skip a beat (probably because he’s almost bald himself–with stubble). Favorable reactions, which is good, ’cause one of the intended bonuses of this change of appearance is that it hopefully wouldn’t compromise my professional *cough cough* appearance :o)

  20. eviefencer says:

    hehehe…true. that, and you’ll still be a half-mile taller than everyone…

  21. threehalvs says:

    Durn

    Well, a couple thoughts:

    1) It’s not at bad as I thought it’d be
    2) The only reason it’s not as bad as I thought it’d be is because of the facial hair, so don’t lose that.
    3) One word: Sunscreen

  22. immortaleve says:

    eep!

(for some odd reason, I was not expecting that when I clicked on the link).

very different. I admire your ability to go through with it (as I also want to cut my hair short, though not nearly that short, I just can’t do it).

  23. admin says:

    1. Well thanks :o)
    2. Don’t plan to, unless some Mongolian beard snail comes and sucks it off me in my sleep. Which is unlikely.
    3. Check.

  24. admin says:

As the illustrious Tim would say, “Doooooo it.” It grows back, y’know :o)

  25. immortaleve says:

    haha, totally.

    I am *quite* tempted.

I will have to find a suitable beauty parlor first (the determining factor will be whether or not they have good massages) ;)
