OH!! Yes I did. Like, as I was pulling out of my driveway my phone started to vibrate (cell phone rings are so last year) and I was like, “EEEeee!”
And then I saw that it said “huzzah-worthy,” and that started my day out on a very good note. I had such a good day! Thank you God!
So willing to join me on a roadtrip? :o) Not that I would object in the slightest, but what’s this I read on your journal about you being an unwilling nomad? But perhaps you’re only referring to actual moves, not “vacations” per se.
Bon chance driving in China. I hope I won’t have to read about any near-death experiences involving driving (although admittedly they could be entertaining–perhaps you could fabricate one for our amusement? :o)
there are TONS of , as we call em, ‘got rice?’ cars (there was one of those cars with that bumber sticker on it) around here…there’s this one i see all the time…it’s cobalt blue, it has bright red rims and bright red window tint all over. eek! it’s hideous.
is it me or do all the guys driving those things look the same?
have you seen the ‘civic nation’ honda commercial? funny.
It is a perpetually perplexing issue to me how those guys, in their right mind, could think those cars are attractive. But I guess if you just hang out with the same crowd all the time, the insular quality of it causes them to develop whacked-out ideas of what makes their car look good. Kind of like how an evolutionist would say marsupials developed in Australia, except with cars and stickers.
I’ve seen the commercial…funny stuff :o)

well, no driving for me right now, as they are currently having a huge problem in Beijing, as a TON of people bought cars when the SARS epidemic happened, and none of them really know how to drive. I saw one accident this morning, and it was actually quite amusing to see the two people arguing. it was just a fender bender, so nobody was hurt, but there was a huge crowd standing around watching.

they have driver’s ed, but just imagine if all of DC drivers were sixteen year olds with brand new cars.
