Wow. I mean… Wow.
Got the grad. school orientation manuals from the printer today, and they’re missing a section. A section. The handbook section. Yeah, they’re going to be pissed about this one, but for once it’s not my fault. I gave explicit instructions, repeatedly, about which sections were supposed to be in the manual, their order, and I delivered the files ahead of schedule. It just boggles my mind. And this isn’t the first issue with this job, either. They’re already almost a week late and delivered to the wrong location. Jim (the director of Printing Services)… I feel for that guy. He goes on vacation for two weeks and his whole operation has a meltdown. Well. It’ll be interesting to see what he says when he returns my call about it–but he’s probably fielding very angry calls from the grad. school already. Man.
Anyway. It was hard to get up this morning, but it’s been a good day. I puttered along shoring up some web work this morning, doing a little administrative housecleaning here and there. My car still smokes like a napalmed jungle in ‘Nam, but I’m going to investigate that this afternoon. Got a few theories. In the meantime… More hummus!

Mmm… hummus. :)
Lucky you
That sounds like our printers… only it’s not limited to two weeks of vacation. They are consistently late and forever screwing things up… I need to find a place that has a designer and can print things. I’m glad it’s been a good day :o) I’ll talk to ya later.
Huzzah for hummus!
Hmm… Good band name?
:o)
Yeah… They’re not usually this bad, though, it’s just for some reason in the past two months they’ve been really dragging. Maybe people are going on vacation at inopportune times?
Perhapsibly… but it’s not prezackly what I’d want to listen to.
“Garlic!!! Yeahhhh!!! Garbanzo beans!!!!! Aggghhhh!!”
It would, of course, have to be a hardcore band.
Wow–you did it. I’m quite impressed (no sarcasm whatsoever).
hahaha :o)
I dunno… Could you see a hardcore band screaming “Huzzah!” at the top of their lungs? Wait–maybe, yeah.
well you managed to have a moulin rouge-ish away message. that’s impressive, too.
:)
If I ever start a hardcore band (which is highly unlikely), our claim to fame will be the way we scream “Huzzah!” And our hit single will be “Heavenly Hummus.”
Oh my gosh. Christian hardcore…
perhaps not.
Well, it has been done before… Christian hardcore, that is. Stavesacre is the only band that comes to mind but I’m sure there are others.
But wow, if you start that band, I would so mosh in front of the stage, and you could crowd-surf, and and and… :o) Good times.
