Had my first dream about work last night. Not good or bad, just…there. I woke up and then went back to sleep, which unfortunately erased any memory of the dream, but I remember the geneal tone, the surreal-ness of it all.
I felt weird yesterday at the end of work. I think it might have been something I had for lunch (Mexican Monday), but I felt dizzy and disoriented. I managed to make it back to the apartment, to take off my work clothes and put on a t-shirt and shorts, and to navigate myself into bed, where I slept for a solid three hours, from 5 until 8, when I woke up, afraid I was going to be late for work… It was evening, of course, but I had been so out of it that I thought it was the next morning. Or something. Regardless, I felt better. I can only take naps for three hours, it seems. Wake me up with less than that and I will be incomparably grumpy, but I will awake of my own accord three hours later on the dot. It’s uncanny. So I cooked some ravioli, returned Matt’s silicone hoses (trying not to disturb his dinner with his family), hit the gym, reassembled the futon and cleaned the apartment a bit, ordered new rear speakers for my car, and went to bed once again. Yes, it’s the exciting life of a graphic designer.

not to sound like a dork, but….
3 hours is a typical complete cycle for a REM period :)
(have you finished off all of the donuts yet?)
You don’t sound like a dork at all. You sound like a geek :o) (says your fellow geek)
That would certainly (partially) explain things… The 3-hour cycle, I mean.
Yes, the doughnuts were finished Sunday night immediately (and I mean immediately) after I got back. John and Donald were watching TV and I barely had time to open the box…
In other news, about your latest post, I found the Paula Cole song, and…yowsers :o) No wonder you’re in a good mood.
haha, it wasn’t quite like that, but the song certainly came to mind…
