afternoon notes
1. The Pearl’s Girl EP by Underworld is an absolutely brilliant slice of music.
2. Moving into a new office tomorrow, one that’s closer to everyone else in the office, so hopefully my social isolation will lessen as I will be able to participate in intra-office discussions by yelling and having people actually hear me.
3. I am the Lord of the Scanner. All who dare oppose me will find the probability of my abdication about as likely as aerodynamic pork.
4. I need to call Jay Marks Toyota and order new door hinge bushings, rear hatch bump stops, and price a new hatch carpet after the number the battery acid did on mine (the carpet fibers literally melted).
5. I don’t know if I’ll ever like beer. Probably not.
6. A computer malfunction on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
7. I have a feeling my restroom magnetic poetry is underappreciated. Probably because I don’t sign my work.
8. The best veal I’ve ever eaten was at my graduation/farewell party at CafĂ© Luna in Raleigh. Come to think of it, everything I ate at that restaurant was top-notch. The veal was the best, though.
9. The next time I’m at the gym, I’m going to lasso a spotter and try 225 on the bench. I’m going to try for three. It’s doable.
