I will take a nap when I get home from work, no matter how energetic I feel (knowing that if I just sit down for five minutes the tiredness will come rushing back), but in the meantime…
I feel good this morning. Inexplicably. It’s weird, but I’m gonna run with it.
My brother David graduated from Jordan HS last night. I’m so proud of him… 26th in a very competitive class of 370. He was probably the tallest guy down on the floor, being 6’2″ or so and having the shaggy hair made him easy to spot. Went out to eat at Macaroni Grill afterwards… Talking with my mom I could see a little of the pending empty-nest look in her face. I think the whole event was a bit bittersweet for her. Donald and Leslie came too.
And now back to designing the UNC Graduate School Orientation manual… Funnage.
