I feel like I drew to much attention to her… Part of the beauty of the music is its humility, the reclusiveness of the artist, the shaded, enclosed-palm nature of the confessions. There’s a secret to it, one that can only be unlocked by an innate kinship or patience, seasons passed, experiences lived listening to the strains, but no other way. It’s undeniably feminine in that regard. I’m drawn to it.

It was a better day. The morning was rough, but the pieces are being put back together, and lessons learned. The afternoon was good. I made progress with my organization, which makes everything else seem that much less daunting. Now I’m quiet. The music helps.

If I part the blinds I can see the raindrops softly crashing in pools… It’s been that way all day, muted, but not overbearing. To the blankets with me…

did you know that she is coming to town on the 31st?

I’m not sure if I’ll be here for the show (my cousin’s graduation and all) but I should know soon… you wanna get a group together to try to go see her? Ivona would be interested, too (I would assume). Anyhoo, lemme know.
