My interview on Monday went great. Thank you all for your prayers… I’ll be hearing back probably within the next couple of days whether I got the job.
In the meantime, I’m nannying (au-pair-ing) for the children of a family in church whose parents are on a trip. The kids are very indepedent, and the house practically runs itself, but none of them have drivers licenses, so I’m there to provide rides, assist should a crisis arise, and to be there at night. Jake, who is 6, has been keeping me busy… We play “Guess Who” a lot.
The brownies on Sunday turned out great. I’m feeling keyed up and jittery for some reason today. It’s rather annoying, and not at all comfortable. At least the car has been reassembled (for the fiftieth time since I’ve owned it… *sigh* Maybe I should just leave it alone). It runs great… Just need to replace that funky alternator. This entry sucks. I’ll write more later.

i’m not sure i’ve ever heard you use that term before, “sucks.” :o) i can’t even imagine you saying it.
