My family (except for Paul) is here for the week, hanging out, partaking of their annual summer vacation to the beach… Their car had a blowout just north of the Florida border as they were driving down; fortunately my dad was able to maintain control and nobody was hurt, only the car is dinged up a bit. In between excursions to the beach, we’re looking for another rim for the car, as the existing one was bent out of all recognition after the tire separated completely at 70 mph… I’m sure it was scary. It’s nice having them here, especially David. We’re going to go visit Bob in about an hour and ogle once again his eclectic selection of VW Beetles and assorted car paraphenalia, and tomorrow we’re driving up to Jacksonville to help get Don’s Supra running. We’ve had great talks into the night, about school, youth group, God, without forgetting the essentials: girls and romantic interests. Of course, all this is interspersed between bouts of Twisted Metal Black and Gran Turismo 3 on the PS2 he brought down… We have to keep the deep conversations in check with some mindless computer-generated entertainment, you understand.

How long does mail take to get from here to there, and, in that same vein, when are you returning to the good ol’ US of A?
Just curious…
They all say hello :o) I’m glad you enjoyed the trilogy. I really need to read the third one (it’s the only one I haven’t). Can’t remember why I stopped, honestly… Well, good excuse for a trip to Barnes & Noble, right? (like I need an excuse) What else have you read while you’ve been there?
Hi Emma :o) Yeah, it’s been fun, when I haven’t been boring him to death by taking him to see my car buddy up in Jacksonville… We went to see one of my former coworkers, Bob, a couple of days ago, though, and he has a lot of animals and assorted power tools and junk, so David liked that. Hope you’re doing good too SK1 :o)
Ya know that David will never be bored as long as he has tools and cars and animals:) I am sure he is having a great time…..and I know you are loving the company! So no need to worry about boring him:) I am doing well…..and I hope the same for you Ap:)
I’m returning around the 13th of August or so… moving into my house in Carrboro the day classes start (eep).
I have no clue how long mail takes, each time seems to be different, but I will send this out tomorrow, so lets find out ;)
