I have not been sleeping well. I thought about not sleeping at all last night, since I must have been tossing and turning for at least 45 minutes… For some reason my mind thinks the point when I lay my head on the pillow is the starting gun for an assault of thoughts and worries. It takes a concerted effort for me to rest my mind on images and situations than are peaceful and good and sleep-inducing. I wonder if it’s just the place I’m at right now? I’m not sure, but dreaming about my former job last night was not the most pleasant memory to wake up with. I dreamed that I had been rehired, but not by Rick, by Chris, the computer guy, but it was 1:30 in the afternoon, and I had to get back to work, and I knew that I was going to get roasted… It’s still with me. I really did not like that job, and it’s not just the aftermath of the dream speaking, either. Why can’t I have a decent night’s sleep?

Gotta clean. My family got out at 9:30 this morning (atypically late), so I have a little bit, but I want to hit the gym and work on the car for a bit before they arrive. It’s likely I won’t be posting quite as much next week as I have been, but I’m sure you all will survive without a constant stream of updates on my doings, goings-on, blood pressure, heart rate, thought life, etc…
