“for the sake of you”
Relatively slow, pensive day. It was difficult to get up this morning. I’m going to take a nap this evening—-no doubt about it. I ran last night, so tonight is workout night. I still need to change the oil in the car, though. I’ll work something out.
It’s hot, inside and outside. The air conditioning in here is seriously underpowered. Perhaps I should start wearing shorts to work? I can… But my professional conscience hasn’t let me yet. I’ll have to soon, though. Speaking of shorts, I think I’ll spring for some swim trunks tonight. This’ll be my shopping list: 3/4 inch drive socket for the oil pan nut, swim trunks, hummus, and deodorant. Aren’t I eclectic?
I feel slow today. My movements are slow; my stride is the same, but it’s like I’m walking in slow motion. I’m very tired

wow…what a shopping list!
that’s the kind of list you find on the ground near shpoong…oh my goodness, i can’t believe i just typed that!! lol…i meant to type *shopping* centers. how did i get shpoong out of that?! i had to leave the typo in there, it was too funny to backspace…
:o)
That sounds like something that should be on my list–shpoong. I wonder where you buy it?
if you’re going to wear shorts, perhaps you should get a nice short sleeve button up, just to appease your professional conscience.
:o)
Is that like a polo shirt, i.e. what we were going to buy? Button-up, button-down, I never remember what’s what. Regardless, I just need to go clothes shopping…
I think if I wore a nice short-sleeve shirt, like you said, and kept it tucked in, I would be fine. It really is sweltering up here; I need to do something.
something like that. :o) you could just go for a shirt that buttons all the way, you know, one of those cotton deals.
guess what i just remembered? the loft has to be taken down, and there’s no way i can do that… *sigh* perhaps i can talk my dad into coming? who knows.
Hmm. When’s the deadline for the loft having to be taken down? I would feel bad if anyone else had to take it down. Besides, only my magic socket wrench will fit the bolts and nuts :o) We can discuss it tonight.
About the shirts… Honestly, whichever style is cooler (as in temperature); that’s what I want to go for. I can’t take this incineration all summer. Ain’t gonna happen.
thin cotton button up
tomorrow (my dad could take it down, but i think he’d have to do it saturday as well… so maybe we could just be really quiet?)
i’m goign to nap now. i don’t feel well. if you happen to talk to my mom, could you let her know? i forgot to say anything.
…
honey, i think almost *any* air conditioning unit in florida would be considered “under powered” ;)
and hey, eclectic shopping lists are good, right?
True about the AC… Especially in large rooms presided over by stingy managers who are ridiculously cheap and won’t even buy us battery backups for our computers that keep them running in the event of momentary power cuts… *sigh*
Eclectic shopping lists are great; they just make you run all over town :o)
at least you aren’t relying entirely on that atrocious super walmart you’ve got…
“right about now, funk soul brother”
or something…
“back back on the set / and coverin’ all bets”
:o)
Atrocious Super Wallyland? Hey, at least it’s open 24 hours. But yeah, I don’t shop there if I can help it.
I thought it was Wallyworld… though Wallyland does have a certain ring to it…
