Fitful sleep last night. I must have woken up half a dozen times, turning, readjusting, skipping off the surface of sleep for a few minutes again. I dreamed as soon as I actually did fall asleep for the first time, and as I recall the dreams were so odd and complete that I was going to wake up for a minute and record them, but after rousing myself and shuffling around for a scrap of paper and a pencil, it seems all I was able to record before sleep overtook me again was “Zaban Wheebee.” That’s the only thing written on the piece of paper on my nightstand. Hmm.

I received an e-mail yesterday from the director of admissions at PBC, letting me know that they were still reviewing my application materials, and furthermore, that the whole admissions staff had been praying for me and my direction as soon as they got wind of my interest in applying there in August. That was amazingly encouraging to hear.

I think we’re going to get our tree tonight. Or tomorrow. This week sometime for sure.

    i know i’m supposedly “taking a break,” but…

How awesome that you heard from PBC! What an encouraging e-mail. You’re still in my prayers.

I, too, had fitful sleep last night. A large part of it was due to the horrendous thunderstorm combined with a dream I had about a storm that smashed peoples’ brains out. I woke up so fearful. It was awesome.

Thanks for your prayers, Em :)

What a horrid dream. Does the weather outside often infringe on the content of your dreams?

    Anytime.

Yes, the dream was really, really bad. I very rarely remember my dreams (I think we’ve discussed this before?) but I remember last nights dream quite vividly. I wouldn’t exactly say that the content of my dreams is often influenced by the weather, but the winds last night were really strong. Whipping around the house and making odd sounds. It was a Strange Nightâ„¢.

Your “Zaban Wheebee” record is a heck of a lot more amusing than anything I can recall, that’s for sure. :)
