“mr. brightside” has been going through my head all day
You know you’ve slept long enough when you dream about getting up but don’t actually get up. I dreamed, among other things, that my mom was calling me downstairs to help put up the Christmas decorations on the house. The horror.

I wish I could stay here the weekend but somehow I got scheduled to work tomorrow at the store. Shouldn’t be as hectic as yesterday but the fact that I have to still kind of sabotages my weekend back in Chapel Hill. I wanted to visit people. Maybe in a few weeks.
I guess I’ll have to wait on the trailer… I went to save it and it projected a time of 8+ hours to do so. Needless to say I stopped. I suppose I’ll have to hope and pray I’ll be able to last until Sunday night without viewing it! Tough as it may be… I will survive!

Yes, VERY proud… I inherited my grandmother’s eyes, my dad’s shoulders, and my mom’s lead foot! : )
I probably shouldn’t disclose this, but two Thanksgivings ago I actually got two tickets on the way back home! But those were extenuating circumstances. And, incidentally, both officers told me to say my ferret was driving. :::rolling my eyes::: I told both of them to write the ferret the ticket then, but neither of them thought it was very funny…

I had that happen to me as well. It resulted in my ordering the Killers cd the next day. ;)
The older i got, the less i cared about decorating the Christmas tree. When i was young i looked forward to doing it with my mom, but the last couple years that i spent at home found my mom doing all the tree decor by herself. By then i had defected over to my dad’s point of view on the whole thing. If mom wants someone to help her in the future they’re going to have to have more children. ;)

That would be awesome. Especially in light of it being our last car guys meeting of the year. We’ve got some good stuff planned…but then again (if you’ve been keeping up with all the emails) you must already know about all that… ;)
