So far we’ve looked at about a dozen houses in W-S, some good and some not so good. On Monday we viewed a foreclosure in a good neighborhood that we could buy for about 40 grand less than it would be worth fixed up, and it doesn’t need a whole lot of work (mainly paint, appliances, carpet, etc). Apparently several others think it’s a good deal as well, and the house has already been bid on. It’s not under contract yet, though, so there’s still a chance we’ll get it.
My car’s front main seal still needs to be replaced and I’m driving it several hours up into the mountains this weekend to go camping. Don’t know when I’ll find the time to do that. The good news is that I fixed the odometer last night with a nickel and a bent paperclip.
The Spurs played their most lackluster game of the whole series last night. When they weren’t at home, after having won the first two games of the series, I could understand how they might have let up a little bit, but last night… Stephen A. Smith nailed it when he pegged Parker as a turnover waiting to happen in the fourth quarter and blasted Ginobili’s erratic play. Truly pathetic. They had better come out with both barrels blazing tomorrow night.
I’ve been flying under the radar lately, on the internets and otherwise. I’ve had to draw up a master to-do list for the next few months, separated into four categories: school, work, house, personal. The number of things to cross off in each category before August 23 is truly daunting. Prayers appreciated.

I’m glad it made it there yesterday; I was told it would get there today. Next time I’ll use more creative packaging–there are certain things you have to use if you want stuff to get there quickly.
