InDesign is awesome. I’m here at the Gazette, and it took me about two hours to learn the program, get all my style sheets, libraries and colloquia transferred from Quark. It’s a breath of fresh air after the clunkiness of Quark, especially on OS X, where it had to run in classic mode, exacerbating the already-present slowness from necessary link to the license server. So nice.
And now it’s raining outside. First of the Spring/Summer afternoon cloudbursts? Perhapsibly. In any case, it’s washing the pollen away…

in summer ventures (math & science camp) before eleventh grade, i learned to write the q basic code that would run the game of life. :)
Yeah, talk about a downpour…holy crap! Looks like my car got powerwashed! But i cant complain…it really needed it. ;)

Q BASIC… that’s awesome. I wrote a couple of programs in Pascal between my junior and senior years. Old-school programmers represent!
