ich reiste wie ein Schuß

(all pics taken by Mike)

We went to Snowshoe in eastern West Virginia. It was about a six hour drive for us…definitely not feasable for a day trip. Also, in a freaky sort of way, their logo reminds me of the black rabbit from the animated version of Watership Down. Yikes.

Looking down “Shay’s Revenge,” the only double black diamond at the resort. Aaron and I tackled this Tuesday morning–it was quite fun.

Mike’s friend Jon, who had just purchased a very expensive set of skis and had a weird relationship with his poles–as in, they were much too short for him and he didn’t use them most of the time. Eh.

Monsieur Aaron (w/reflective gloves).

Me. Tuesday morning, foggy and drizzly.

Nicole and I Monday morning just after renting her skis. We’re ready to go :)

From left to right: Jon, Nicole, Heather, Mike, Aaron, me. Mike was the only one boarding and was readily recognizable because of his shiny helmet.

i could see you modeling clothes for jc penney/sears/etc :)

I’m not sure if that’s an insult or a compliment. ;-P

…but you *do* fairly tower over the masses. If not for Aaron’s presence it would look as if you had found one of the the lands of Gulliver’s Travels. You know the one…

Oh, and Mike looks like a robot without a head. Visibility’s kinda low in that pic, aint it?

Um, I think she meant it as a compliment.

Monday morning was very foggy and drippy (and a little cold), which is probably why Mike’s all buttoned up.

    hahaha

Honestly it’s never even remotely crossed my mind. That’s very flattering of you to say, though. Thanks!
