I have a tiredness headache this morning… I’m incorrigible, really. Going for a run (yes, it’s really a jog, so sue me) at 10:30, relaxing, then watching Frasier at midnight when I should have been showering and readying for bed, then getting up earlier than usual to take my car to the (reassuringly knowledgable and seemingly competent) mechanic.
Listening to a good internet radio station via iTunes. Is it weird that I like the station breaks almost as much as the selection of music they play? No oh-so-angsty post-grunge pop crap, no R&B shelf-life-of-5-minutes trash, no get-over-it-already emo nonsense, just nice, varied, admittedly synthesizer-biased Europop. It works for me.
Rented Metropolis (the 1927 version) and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari last night, the prototypical sci-fi and horror flicks, respectively. Looks like it’s going to be a silent movie night tonight. I’m really looking forward to watching them. Maybe I should’ve rented a Marx brothers film, to take the edge off. Ah well.

Have you seen Metropolis before? It left me awestruck, though I saw it in a proper theater so that may have had something to do with it. But I walked out thinking “1927… 1927!” Ha. You should check out Buster Keaton too, another way to take the edge off.
No, I haven’t seen it. I’m really looking forward to it.
Buster Keaton. Good suggestion :o)
Have I mentioned I love Visart?
