I could really use a lower back massage. I think between bending over the car yesterday to reach the rear bank of spark plugs after sitting in the car for several hours, and then going for a good run (within a few seconds of the 3.5 mi. record) did something to the muscles back there. Ow. Sore. I’ll stretch when I get home, I think. I’m getting old, heh :o)
Called Madame Pignol in Vence over lunch today and fared much better than I thought I would. Maintained a good conversation, all my expressions came back to me, my accent was decent, and it worked out well. Only thing is, they’re going to be gone the weekend we plan to be there, so staying with them is out. Maybe we can scrounge up a few more friends in the area. Argh. I do not need planning stress. We could always stay at the Mas de Vence, where we have in the past, as it’s relatively inexpensive (especially if you split a double room four ways–meaning I’d have to sleep on the floor, but I don’t mind), very near to the inner city, and the hotel restaurant is absolutely stellar. Oh, and they have that stalwart bastion of investigative reporting, the Nice Matin, downstairs every morning. We shall see.

Sounds great!
I’d give you a massage (my co-workers and friends get them spontaneously) but alas, that doesn’t work through the computer.
Hope you’re having a blast! (No pun intended, since your username is spaceship . . . )
Thank you for the thought. Don’t know how many times I’ve wished things (cookies, massages, hugs, etc) could be transmitted through the computer. Maybe someone will invent a device that can accomplish that during our lifetime… Here’s hoping :o)
I did quite a bit of driving today, listening to music. I ended up listening to Much Afraid and If I Left the Zoo all the way through, and I thought of you and your enthusiasm for them. It’s definitely good stuff.
My exboyfriend wanted to invent a particle machine thingy so that he could move three hours in just one second . . . he lived three hours away from me for the first year we dated, then fourteen hours away from me for the second year. Ick.
And I’m glad that CDs can remind you of me even though you’ve never met me. It makes me smile :)
