Loud, brash, noisy guitars. Amps turned up to 11 (“This one goes to eleven.”) Wall-of-sound rock, with multi-layered vocal harmonies thrown on top for good measure. That’s what I want right now. I knew I shouldn’t have left Definitely Maybe at home. Dang it.
oasis in the air
“Don’t Go Away” popped into my head last night while making dinner so I sang to myself what I could remember. It was really odd, and nice.
That’s a great song. There are few bands who have such a knack for melody as Oasis, even among the crashing guitars…
