This is the perfect soundtrack for today… I’ve never experienced such a close kinship between the music playing and the day outside. It’s ideal, pristine, lovely, golden… The notes embrace me and soften my regard. I feel close to the day, and somehow things don’t matter as much anymore, at least for a little while. It’s perfect.

    agh! george winston! must comment!

All I want to say is that I agree wholeheartedly.

Well… no. I can’t stop there. What’s your favorite song on the album?

    :o)

Not sure… I’ve not listened to it enough to be able to pick out all the songs individually, though there are some I recognize. I especially like the trio of songs, “The Garden,” “Spring Creek,” and then “Lullaby.” Somehow all three listened to in sequence creates a statement greater than the sum of the individual songs.

And “Goodbye, Montana” is at the same time fun and wistful… It rolls, but there’s a twinge of nostalgia in the notes.

    How about you?
