New glasses today!

I had to use Donald’s camera to take the picture… I wish I didn’t keep losing stuff–my watch, my running gloves, countless articles of clothing, numerous tools, my old glasses, and now my digital camera, etc… I looked everywhere but am really beginning to suspect it was stolen. *sigh* Maybe it’ll turn up after some cleaning… Hopefully. I think if I set things in the same place every time I could avoid a lot of the misplacement issues. That’s what I’m going to start doing, at least.

    Nice specs!

What kind did you have before?

I have to wear glasses too and will spend the extra $$$ to make them lightweight and scratch resistant if I can.

  3. It really suits you. =)

Thanks :o) I like ’em too.

Thanks! Let’s see… Before I had ones that were round on the top, with sort of an octagonal bottom, and lighter and less chunky frames.

Lightweight is nice, but I’d rather have glasses that stay put on my head than ones I can’t even feel… Tried some frameless ones out at the eye doctor’s, and while I could barely feel them, I think I’d worry too much about sitting on them. Of course, if I had really wanted to shell out the big bucks I could have gotten titanium frames–lightweight and substantial. But I’m too cheap for that :o)

so do I have good taste or what? you realize that these were one of the first ones I picked up!

    glasses

    No problem!

I’ve yet to try the frameless one’s, but I can see where you’re coming from. I spent some extra money to get the glass shaved down because I had health insurance at the time and it paid for most of my stuff. I wanted to get contacts, but i’m far-sighted and have a bit of an astigmatism, so they wouldn’t do me much good beyond looks. There seems to be a lack of things besides glasses for far-sighted people to use. All the near-sighted folks get contacts and laser surgery. Oh well.

Well, I like to think it was a collaborative effort, though each half of the selection committee was essential, mind you…

Thanks :o) You do have great taste.
