if why and when
because, around, and through
never my semblance of thing past the dreaming shall mistake
for the whetstone reams a leather timepiece
to sit in
and remember a
silver naissance and relevance
twelve clovers, my love
and a shamrock shall make the evening less numbered
with encumbrances and enumerations
types of
carpet soft the field my palms
lie down lie back and breathe the sky
into your lungs the world pulling the stars through
your soul into the infinity that is the other side and
i wish you to collapse with me into these celestial
phenomena
these events so long in reaching our senses, as the
lifting of your eyes bespeaks the gentle gravity of a star
between us. if the globe of my knowing had such a fine frame
it would be simple

I was at the ballet, yes. It was a performance of Giselle by the Moscow Festival Ballet. It was interesting (and that’s a “good” interesting). Quite awe-inspiring, control the dancers have over their movements.

And thankye kindly for the compliment on the poem. I’m getting back into poetry, I swear… They won’t suck anymore, really… :o)

haha, that “non-suckage” promise might be hard to keep when you are feeling particularly moon-eyed over a certain someone that you are unable to write coherent prose ;)

not that coherent is necessary, but its nice ;)

    ballet is scary.
