Quiet afternoon at the Gazette. It’s only a 12-page issue, with no inserts, not a billing week, and I don’t have any pressing assignments besides, so it’s been slow. I exchanged Scott one of my pitas and some hummus for a Coke earlier, so I’m feeling more alert than I normally would after lunch when the food is settling. We listened to some EBTG, David Gray, Depeche Mode, and now Enigma on the iTunes playlist. As you can see we’re doing things somewhat alphabetically, or at least staying in the d’s and e’s. Yes, it’s slow, I’ve flowed all the copy in, and Scott’s going over the printed layout now. I should be home soon. How about now?

I can’t believe you hoed out pita and hummus.
