i was wondering… how did you get him to give you lessons? he seems to be rather good… nothing against your playing, but, well… you were a beginner. :o)

My accordion teacher is good–that’s why he gave lessons. It’s not like there’s a surplus of accodion teachers in the area, so I couldn’t exactly pick one that would suit my skill level at that point. I have a couple of his cds at home. A few of the songs remind me very much of France.

oh… that makes sense. its just that, well, you don’t hear of good concert pianists giving lessons. just people who know how to play and enjoy it… anyway.
