Productive.
One of the finer feelings in life… And one that I’ve experienced today for the first time in a while.
Got my billing sheets done today, which is always a pain, but I got ’em done on the first of the month, no less. Finished up the Chancellor’s State of the Univerisity webpage–nice to have that done. And after I got home I got some car time in. Took it slow, didn’t get frustrated or frazzled or lacerated, and almost finished preparing for the engine pull this weekend. I got off the driveshaft, the speedo cable to the transmission, the clutch slave cylinder, drained the tranny fluid, removed the shifter, and disconnected the wiring harness from the ECU and draped it over the engine (way easier than I thought it was going to be–I love Toyotas). And I also love inline sixes. Ridiculous amount of room to work around the engine. It’s going to be a snap. Of course, I say that, and it never is, but this is my fifth engine pull, so I think I have a pretty good bead on when things are going to go well. Thank you God.
Time for some cleaning, then a run, then goodnight.
