I am going to buy a digital camera today.
And Donald will be my trusty sidekick in selecting one, since he knows his stuff.
Yee haw.
So…barring a major Mac meltdown (MMM?) or a computer crisis of incompatibility of Michael Jackson/Lisa Marie proportions, I should be posting thousands of words tonight. Poetically speaking.

I’m already into this thing. I got a Nikon Coolpics 2100. It’s only 2.0 megapixels, but I figured a great quality camera at lower megapixels would be a better buy than a shoddy quality 3.0+ Mp camera… It’s not like I’m going to be doing any really high-res photography. It was so intuitive to use, too. My dad and mom are both avid photographers (the real kind), and they both swear up and down by Nikon. So far so good.
If only I didn’t need Mac OS 9 to run the stupid software… Grar. Looks like I’ll be hijacking Donald’s computer for a while, at least until I buy a dumb OS upgrade.

Yeah, I did, and I’ve been snapping pictures left and right (even got a couple of Francis–he’s quite photogenic you know), but the camera and the computer don’t like each other yet. Soon to be resolved.

we have a 3.3 mp and it’s proly more camera than we need, but it’s nice.
ok, i don’t know if it’s still there or not (more than likely it is), but we were thrift store shopping on saturdat at the salvation army, and jason was looking through software and he had found OS9 for mac for a buck.
he got the OS8 for our mac to try to get it running, but we think it needs a new modem.
but anyway, if you’d like me to, if it’s still there, i can pick it up for you and mail it to you (if you wouldn’t mind me having your address).
it’s only a buck! i wouldn’t charge you anything for it!
