It’s ’80s movie week! Well, sort of. Watched Sixteen Candles last night, St. Elmo’s Fire (which I’ve never seen) is slated for tonight, and Thursday I’m going to watch Jaws on the big screen in Cary. Okay, technically, that’s a ’70s movie, but as a Spielberg movie I just kind of lump it in with the rest of the ’80s fare. Regardless, I’m looking forward to that. All the more ’cause it’s free (yay friend with free coupons). I feel like I should grow a mullet and rent some parachute pants just for the occasion. One thing’s for sure–I will be listening to Star 102.9 (my ’80s station) on the way over there.

Good day overall. Productive, but under control, and the sun’s come out! La vie est belle, n’est-ce pas?

Sixteen Candles! Oh how I love that movie. :)
I’m glad you had a good day, too.

  2. Yes it is….

Life is beautiful (you know I had to have help translating that…hahaha). I LOVE the movie Sixteen Candles. My parents actually got me that DVD as part of my Christmas present last year. It’s such a great movie….aw…that puts me in a good mood :o)

Thanks :o) It’ll be better when the sun comes out… But at least I have the immortal words of Long Duk Dong to ponder in the meantime, “No more yankie my wankie. The Donger need food!”

Appropriate, I think, given that it’s almost lunchtime.

nah dude, you should BUY a pair of parachute pants.

I mean, they{re still in over in France and whatnot…

Seriously! France is either 5 years ahead or ten (or more years) behind fashion here… But maybe those are equivalent in the fashion world? Hmm.

So, can you see me in parachute pants? Hint: Don’t visualize too hard. You’ll hurt yourself.

    :o)

    (ouch!)

yeah, it was too late, I{d already visualized.

there are some wacky french people living next to me, and whatever their fashion tastes are… yeah.
