Well, Quark is down while Shelly works on Alana’s computer…which basically means my primary productive tool is offline for a little while. Dang it. Oh well… I’m feeling antisocial today. Maybe it’s the weather? I didn’t attend Mexican Monday today, even though they went to Monterrey’s, it’s Cinco de Mayo, and I spent as much at Harris Teeter buying hummus and pita bread and splurging on an issue of Cycle World as I would have going out for lunch anyway.
My eyes are tired. Interesting how LiveJournal is used so often as a procrastination outlet, which I think would explain the preponderance of entries lamenting the LJer’s lack of productivity, laziness, general apathy, tiredness, etc… Just a thought.
I wish the dumb MSF course was held earlier than July. I need to call and see if they have any openings sooner. I bought a helmet on Saturday. I’m wondering if I should get a bike first, or take the course first. I think this is going to be a classic character-building exercise in delayed gratification–meaning, I’ll take the course first. Yeah.
I want to listen to some new music. Let me give you an idea of what I’m looking for: poetic, somewhat obscure lyrics, some love songs but not an overabundance of them, laid-back, mid-tempo, guitar, singer/songwriter obviously, and um…just good music. I think that’s it. Recommendations?
