I’ve decided I still like that car. I get frustrated at it when it’s not running right, kind of like one would get frustrated at their room for not being clean… There are different approaches to each end, of course, but I think the emotions resident as a result of them are related, at least. Even in spite of the alternator problems I’ve been having recently, I still really, really enjoy driving it. It is so effortless in everything that it does, turbine-smooth in the engine note, and absolutely serene on the highway, even in a downpour. The driver’s area is starting to look more and more like mission control for NASA, which I like, what with the re-addition of the air/fuel ratio gauge.
In other car news, I found out the cool techno song on the Mitsubishi Eclipse commercial is “Days Go By” by Dirty Vegas.

Very perceptive :o) You will notice, also, that for the benefit of all you folks who would rather not read about such things, I tend to only use a particular icon when my posts are car-centered…
its not that I would rather not read them, its more that I am slightly concerned as to the frequency of said subject matter ;)
