It is not a good day, and it’s only 9 a.m. I hate breathing sawdust and polymer fumes down in the cabinet shop and on the assembly line. I get blamed because parts don’t fit right down in the cabinet shop, when our computer models are dead-on and the CNC doesn’t cut them right, and I get blamed when everything that’s supposed to fit in the aft salon cabinet doesn’t fit, despite the fact that they wanted to shrink the whole fricking cabinet by about a third and expect everything and more to fit in it now… ARGH. I am going to throw a grenade in that boat. With both malice and premeditation, yes, I am. I hate this. Geno and Rick aren’t here, either, the guys who designed this area in the first place and can sign off on changes. So, it’s my call, I’m not overly familiar with the boat, it’s practically done, there needs to be a big change, and I have no utter idea what to do. Pray?

I’m really sorry your day isn’t going so well… just take a breather (do you need me to send you some tea?) :) None of what they are blaming on you is actually your fault, so don’t worry about it, let them get all fired up, then you can calmly explain *their* mistake to the manager/boss or something like that (sigh). Thats what sucks about being a peon, but alas, it won’t always be that way ;)
Some tea would be much appreciated… *sigh* I’m going to go hide in the new office where they can’t find me and assemble some more office furniture with Bob. For a while, at least.
I know it won’t always be this way… It’s just… They don’t think when they make these changes, and they pass the buck and expect us to pick up the pieces when it doesn’t work.

I doubt my day was and will be even close to the state of peacefulness that yours was, but my car part is coming this afternoon and I’m going to take a nap later, both good things. I shall think about those.
